How would one go about taking the party politics out of the voting system?
How do we get back to where we in the USA can vote freely for the candidates that we prefer, in order of preference, regardless of their party?
So far I’ve been discouraged by the Democratic and Republican values. For instance, I am pro-life and anti-death penalty. So what system would be better so I can support it in legislation locally and maybe it will spread?
The system change starts with “You”. Find out as much as you can about each and every person you decide to vote for….then go for it. The system change is called “Split Ticket”, in where “you” vote for the person that “you” feel would do the best job in that position. Dem’s and Rep’s are just party….vote for the person that you feel will get the job done!
