If there were four major political parties instead of two in America,?

what do you believe they should stand for? Please try not to use names like Republican, Democrat, Libertarian.
How could four parties best represent the whole of how Americans feel about their government?

This is tough – Here’s a try

1. Dark Ages Party for those backward-thinkers who don’t like science or industrialization

2. Star Wars Party for those who want the government to embrace everything scientific and progressive and use that to improve human existence.

3. Township Party for those who don’t want big government

4. MegaOpoly Party for those who want government to control every aspect of their life.

This is just for fun but in reality, if we had even 3 parties there wouldn’t be so much of this “us vs. them” mentality we see now.

I think maybe the Republican Party is getting ready to split in two. Which would be a good thing, IMHO
